Why own a pool when the Canadian summers are so short?
Monarch Moveable Glass Walls has created unique bi folding doors to allow home owners to enjoy their pool with the fresh outdoor breeze of summer or the cozy safety of their closed in glass walls in the winter. One of the draw backs of owning a pool in the northern climates is the unpredictable weather. Ironically, even when the weather is good the onslaught of bugs makes enjoying the pool environment risky at best. Monarch’s Moveable Glass Walls provide a glass wall system that can role away when the weather is inviting and then gradually close off as the weather changes.
Rita, a home owner in Caledon points out “We love enjoying our pool in the early morning when the sun is rising or at night when the sun is setting, but the mosquitos and black flies make it such a miserable experience. It’s jump in as quick as you can and then make a run for it back into the house before they get you!”
With Monarch’s moveable wall system and automatic remote control screen system the home owner can now control the atmosphere around their pool. Today’s modern landscaping designs give pools a total tropical feel. With use of rock formations and foliage accents, coupled with the trickling of water falls, a pool takes on the essence of paradise. Then the cold comes and paradise is lost.
As boomers get older the trend in luxury design is to create a spa atmosphere at home where they can escape from the pressures of work. The home is becoming a sanctuary which offers relaxation, and escape! Monarch Moveable glass walls give the home owner the opportunity to enjoy that atmosphere all year around. When it is conducive to enjoy the outdoor sights and sounds the folding glass panels can be easily opened with a push of a finger. When the bugs are out the remote control screen systems descend protecting the ambience of the moment.
